/ WORKING AT VIRTUO

We use the power of design & technology to positively move the world forward

Our team is always on the look out for curious and creative people who have a passion for learning and pushing the limits of what’s possible.

Virtuo is a place to explore potential, push the boundaries of possibility, and deeply innovate with original ingenuity. We believe ideas change everything and making them real is our virtue.

If this sounds like you, get in touch.

/ What we’re looking for

As a Virtuo designer, you will be able to carry out design research, conceptualise new ideas, and prototype and test ideas in a rapid experimental and commercial manner.

We look for self-starters, people with a strong problem-solving mindset, and a positive energy, who have a practical bent. Those who can rolling up their sleeves and get into it.

If you are curious at your core, willing to challenge assumptions, imagine new possibilities, and exhibit an ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics, we’d love to hear from you.

/ Design as a team

The team consists of a small collection of engineers, designers, researchers and innovators with a passion to create new solutions and technologies that benefit our world.

Our team works end to end. From understanding problems and needs, to conceptualising new concepts, through to the detailed development, prototyping, testing and realisation.

/ Why work at Virtuo

Become part of the Virtuo team, and work within a leading design and technology development company.

Here you can work alongside some of the best designers and developers in New Zealand. Learn and gain valuable real-world R&D experience. And be involved in creating future shaping technologies while working in one of the most vibrant, fastest growing regions of NZ.

/ Our culture and spirit

Empathy is praised here, and we believe actions speak louder than words. Design and innovation is an act (a discipline) that requires a consistent, confident positive attitude. The values we champion include:

Generous — giving on to others and our team, using our talents to make the world a better place

Authentic — humble as a human, honest and original

Adaptive — to tackle any new project or challenge

Positive — relishing pressure, defaulting to a positive proactive disposition

Grounded — sweeping the sheds, never too big to do the small things.
